NB: To commemorate the exact 175th anniversary of the death of
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, maestro Foss limited the performance of the
  Requiem on December 5th
to the first seven parts, concluding with the Lacrimosa.
Mozart died after writing the series of sixteen ascending chords
in the chorus. At that point, the concert hall was darkened to reveal a photo-facsimile
projected onto a large screen, taken from Mozart's own manuscript of those precious
final measures. The chorus then sang Ave Verum Corpus In Memoriam.
